About

Tucked away in a private valley with breathtaking views, you can find some rest while being educated about this special and historical land. All visitors to the land will be REQUIRED to participate in our Aina Program (a short land conservation project), as part of your stay. It is a CAMPING experience. World famous local food trucks and beaches within a short distance in every direction, as well as onsite activities. 10-12min walk to the beach. A memorable experience and a chance to give back.

Good to know

This is a camping experience, with OUTDOOR SHOWERS, BATHROOMS, and firepits on site. There is no kitchen included. There are world famous food trucks close by in both directions and beautiful beaches are found on this side of the island. This is a private piece of property and the space is cared for with the upmost respect. The land is situated near a Wahi Pana (sacred and legendary site). We hope to share with you the significance of this area as well as give you an opportunity to give back to the land.

Other Details to Note

This is very special and sacred land and we ask that you come with an open mind and heart to be educated about this land and how you can care for it. We are partnered with a non-profit org that hosts our aina (land) based education programs that we would like to ask you to be a part of. We will hold this program 3-4 times a week for an hour at a time, please plan to attend at least once, you wont regret it! We appreciate your stay here which furthers our efforts to sustainably host free community centered programs, culturally based Native Hawaiian education, and land conservation. Mahalo!

The yurt was located on the most beautiful and peaceful property. If it weren't for the spot on instructions, we would have never found it. Unfortunately due to the weather (rained the whole two days we were there) we weren't able to participate in any activities or see the true beauty as it was covered in fog. Everything was as stated so there were no surprises. My kids loved all the little lizards in the yurt and we were thankful they kept the bugs down. Would recommend bringing bug wipes (jungle friendly of course!), as they were out in full force because of the rain. Great experience, would stay here again!

The place is beautiful and peaceful. It feels like you’re in remote nature while being so close to towns and tourist attractions. The yurt is spacious, comfortable and quiet. It’s a perfect reset retreat.

It was a beautiful and secluded location that let my fiance and I enjoy a piece of nature and wildlife, and when it rained on the yurt it was super calming

This air bnb was beautiful! Wonderful views just outside the door, lots of space for my toddler to run around and learn about nature and be free! We only had the one issue while there but host fixed it asap and with ease. Highly recommend this stay to all our friends and family
